What is STEAP?
The Skilled Trade Enrollment Assistance Program (STEAP) was created to offer returning citizens training and
reinforcement before approaching the job market. STEAP is designed to proactively address all
obstacles that prevent re-entry citizens from obtaining occupations in the building trades.
STEAP’s training curriculum is aligned with the projections recorded by the United States
Department of Labor.
